Booked: Man arrested for stealing laptop

The police recovered the laptop and handed it over to Iqbal, while a case has been registered against Faryad.

ISLAMABAD: A man was arrested for stealing a laptop on Saturday.

Muhammad Zafar Iqbal, a resident of sector G-11/1 lodged a complaint with the Shalimar police, saying that his laptop worth Rs200,000 was stolen from his house.

He said he suspected his tenant Faryad of stealing the laptop, as it went missing sometime between 9 pm and 11 pm while he was not in his flat.

He added that Faryad had visited the flat during that time.

The police, on the complaint arrested and interrogated Faryad, who confessed of stealing the laptop and indicated where it was hidden.

The police recovered the laptop and handed it over to Iqbal, while a case has been registered against Faryad.
