Suspect held for assaulting boy

Accused was arrested within 24 hours

RAWALPINDI:

Police have arrested an alleged padeophile accused of assaulting a 14-year-old boy in Gujjar Khan area 24 hours after the incident was reported. Muhammad Suleman told the Gujjar Khan police that Adnan had lured his 14-year-old son to his house and and raped him. As soon as the case was registered, SHO Gujjar Khan police station formed a team and arrested the accused within 24 hours. The suspect was in police lock up. He would be produced before a magistrate on Friday for acquiring his physical remand. Police said they have started the process for the DNA test of the accused, while other evidence was also being collected.
