Uniforms have been made mandatory for the officials of the Punjab Anti-Corruption Establishment (ACE) across Punjab to end the practice of conmen impersonating anti-corruption officials to harass people. ACE Director General Muhammad Gohar Nafees has issued instructions to the employees of the department to wear uniforms from Friday. Officials from constable to inspector would be required to wear uniforms when on duty. Nafees said that ACE will emerged as an organised force due to uniforms. He further said that reforms in the organizsation along modern lines are inevitable. “ACE is slowly improving its image,” he said.
