The Dolphin Squad and Police Response Unit (PRU) of Lahore Police seized as many as 38 pistols, three rifles, three pump action guns, 23 magazines, 233 bullets and cash from outlaws during the past week.

The police wings also seized 144 bottles of liquor and 270 grammes of hashish from the arrested suspects during its anti-narcotics drive.

The Dolphin Squad and PRU responded to 275 calls received on helpline 15 during the week, helping 204 people on different roads of the city.

During patrolling, officials of both wings if Lahore police checked more than 15,3000 motorcycles and 3,124 other vehicles, as well as 157,356 individuals. As many as 189 motorcycles and six other vehicles were impounded and 311 persons detained in different police stations due to incomplete documents and action was initiated against those responsible. At least four cars, 15 motorcycles and 18 mobile phones were recovered from robbers. The Dolphin Squad and PRU arrested 60 people for one wheeling, six for firing into the air and one for violating the ban on kite flying. They also arrested three proclaimed offenders and 108 targeted offenders and court offenders.
