Valuables worth thousands of rupees were gutted in an incident of house fire in Gajjumata area on Friday. The incident was reported at a house located in Green Cap Housing Society on Ferozpur Road. The second storey of the house had caught fire, filling the residence with thick smoke. Eye-witnesses called the rescue services on the spot. Firefighters doused the fire with the help of high tender fire extinguishing vehicles. No loss of life or injury was reported in the incident.
