MULTAN: Classes at South Punjab’s only institute of fashion and ceramics design will begin from October.  Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP) deputy director Alamgir Khan told reporters that the process for recruiting a principal and teachers as well as purchasing equipment and material for training was in progress. Khan said that the modern institute would initially operate in a rented building on Bosan Road to equip young boys and girls with contemporary skills to enable them to excel in the field of design and craftsmanship. Alamgir observed that the students would be able to produce products that not only depicted the culture of different localities in the country but also meet international quality standards to improve trade.
