LG lists go on display on Sept 18

RAWALPINDI:

The Election Commission of Pakistan Rawalpindi office will display lists of the newly demarcated neighbourhood councils for the urban areas panchayat councils for the rural areas of the district on September 18. After publication, the process for filing complaints on fresh delimitations under the new local government system would be summoned. Sources told The Express Tribune that the objections on 105 neighbourhood councils of Rawalpindi Metropolitan Corporation (RMC) and other areas would be summoned from September 18. The objections would be heard until October 17 while the objection committees would be obliged to finalise the boundaries until October 24.
