IMC to help in Craft Festival

Online handicraft business promotion facilities have been extended to all stakeholders

ISLAMABAD:

The elected local government of the federal capital will collaborate with a handicrafts association to organise a craft festival in the city. This was expressed during a meeting between the Islamabad Metropolitan Corporation (IMC) Mayor Sheikh Anser Aziz and Handicrafts Association of Pakistan (HAP) Chairman Fahad Barlas in Islamabad on Monday. Aziz said that the artistic work of our talented craftsmen is worth mentioning and their efforts should be encouraged for promoting businesses. Leading a delegation from HAP, Barlas told the mayor about the efforts they make to promote handicrafts of Pakistan and to provide business opportunities to handicraft related entrepreneurs. HAP’s former chairman Khurshid Barlas, who was part of the delegation, said that online handicraft business promotion facilities have been extended to all stakeholders.
