PHA launches cycling track facility

People from different walks of life including women cyclists participated in the maiden cycling race

The Parks and Horticulture Authority (PHA) has launched a cycling track facility for the cyclists in Jillani Park. Adviser to Chief Minister Asif Mehmood was the chief guest at the inaugural ceremony held on Sunday. PHA Chairman Yasir Gillani, DG Jawad Ahmed Qureshi and a large number of citizens were also present during the event. People from different walks of life including women cyclists participated in the maiden cycling race led by the adviser to CM. “After the stagnant environment in the wake of Covid-19, such healthy activities were the need of the hour,” said the adviser. He maintained that during the lockdown, young cyclists were seen on the roads of Lahore which led to the idea of a track meant for cycling lovers.
