ISLAMABAD:

Capital Development Authority (CDA) has resumed the process of promotion of its employees. The promotion of employees had been deferred for many years due to which not only the work in the organisation was being affected but also there was great unrest among the employees.

More than 100 officers and employees have been promoted to the next scale. Similarly, promotions of 37 more officers are in the final stages and would be completed in the next two weeks.

In this regard, the Human Resource Development Directorate was directed to formulate a policy for holding regular meetings of the Departmental Promotion Committee (DPCs) for the promotion of officers and employees. After resolving other issues including seniority in the light of instructions, regular meetings of the Departmental Promotion Committee are now being held on a regular basis to promote the employees by completing all the rules and regulations.
