15 cops suspended for misconduct

ISLAMABAD:

Inspector General of Police (IGP) Amir Zulfiqar on Thursday ordered to suspend 15 officials of Islamabad Police over non-compliance of orders and misconduct. Islamabad Police Lines Headquarters Additional Inspector General (AIG) Kamran Adil issued an order directing to report the Police Lines Headquarters. The suspended officials include ASI Naeemul Hassan, CIA, ASI Muhammad Ehsan, HSZ, Mujahid Hussain, PDSP Branch, Saifur Rehman, Rescue 15, Muhammad Shabbir, Supreme Court (SC), Muhammad Ramzan, Traffic Branch, and Sultan Muhammad, Special Branch. ASIs Naveed Iqbal and Irfan Ashraf, who were serving as Readers, have also been stopped from duties until further orders. Further, head constables Akhtar Zaib, Barakahu Police Station, Naveed Akhtar, Lohi Bher Police Station, and Tariq Amir, Reader to SP Saddar are also among those suspended on charges of misconduct and non-compliance of orders. Moreover, the constables including Qamar Jahan, Muhrar Investigation, and Mojiz Shah, Moharrar Anti Car Lifting Cell (ALCL), have been placed under suspension too.
