NHMP arrests would-be kidnappers

The NHMP handed over the vehicle, victim, and suspects to the Aimanabad police station for further action

RAWALPINDI:

The National Highways and Motorway Police (NHMP) on Sunday apprehended three would-be kidnappers and recovered the victim. NHMP officials said they received a tip-off that four unidentified suspects had allegedly kidnapped Amir and they were taking him to Lahore. The motorway police were also given information about the vehicle being used. NHMP officers chased the car and managed to intercept it near the Bait-11 area. As the suspect’s vehicle stopped, one of them fled while the police managed to arrest the remaining three. The victim was also recovered safely. The NHMP handed over the vehicle, victim, and suspects to the Aimanabad police station for further action.
