The two-day Broghil Festival would begin at the Broghil National Park in Upper Chitral district from September 5.
Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P) Tourism Department and the Upper Chitral district administration has organsied the festival which would feature various contemporary and traditional games including polo, cricket, football, buzkashi, yak polo, donkey polo, marathon race, tug-of-war, wrestling, music and other games.
The organisers of the festival said the yak race, yak polo, fireworks, traditional music and food activities would be the key features of the festivity. The festival will conclude on September 6.
Meanwhile, the provincial government has announced to develop picnic spots at the small dams being built in the province.
