ISLAMABAD:

Pakistan is blessed with an energetic youth who can be leaders and that they can look up to Muhammad Ali Jinnah and Allama Muhammad Iqbal for inspiration.

This was stated by the Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs Ali Muhammad Khan on Friday during a discussion on’Journey of the Leaders’ organised by the Center for Global and Strategic Studies (CGSS) as part its ‘The Platform’ series.

Ali stated that a leader is someone who is observant and thinks about the circumstances around them that they wish to change. He added that leaders can dream big and make other people dream as well.

Faisal Mushtaq, the chief executive of The Millennium Education System, stated that leadership is an attribute which is built in every individual, whether they are the head of a country or the head of a family. Leadership, he emphasised, begins with a vision and depends on the environment, ecosystem, and knowledge a person. Hence, he stressed that students read and surround themselves with knowledge and wisdom.

Highlighting the qualities and virtues of a successful leader, he said that every leader believes in equality, diversity, and inclusion of all members of society.
