The police arrested on Wednesday three men suspected of involvement in the murder of a traffic police official near Karimabad Chowrangi on August 13. The suspects, identified as Tashakkur alias Baba, Shahzeb alias Tamba and Waqas alias Adi, were apprehended in connection with the murder of head constable Muhammad Ali during a robbery attempt. The police claimed that the murder weapon and a mobile phone, snatched from Ali’s friend during the incident, were found in their possession. According to the police, Ali was shot dead by armed men, who opened fire on him after they noticed he had an official weapon.
