Man found dead on Jail Road

Police collected forensic evidence from the scene and recorded statements of witnesses

LAHORE:

The body of a 25-year-old man was recovered from Jail Road on Monday. A passer-by spotted the body and informed police. A police team reached the spot and shifted the body to a morgue for autopsy. Police also collected forensic evidence from the scene and recorded statements of witnesses. Police said the circumstantial evidence suggested that the victim was a drug addict and might have died because of excessive use of drugs. However, autopsy and further investigations would help ascertain the facts.
