The Chief Minister of Balochistan Jam Kamal was informed that 1,828 development projects out of 2,568 would be completed in the current financial year.
The provincial chief executive was presiding over a meeting to review progress on the development programme of the fiscal year.
Additional Chief Secretary Planning and Development Abdul Rehman Buzdar informed that his department has authorised approximately Rs17 billion in the development sector.
"The total funds required for these projects are being released while automation is being carried out for monitoring of all development projects for which special software has been developed," he added.
During the meeting, CM Kamal also announced some important decisions regarding implementation of development projects and the release of funds.
"All the concerned departments complete PC-1 of their projects as soon as possible and submit them in P&D department so that the project's approval forum can approve them," the chief minister directed.
"The secretaries and other officers of the development departments are responsible for the quality and timely completion. They should not be negligent in this regard."
