Victim was taken to mansion where four men sexually assaulted her

Three people including two women were allegedly raped in separate incidents in the city on Friday.

In the first incident, a woman was reportedly raped by four men after she was abducted in Sahiyanwala area on Friday. The victim was shifted to a hospital in critical condition.

As per details, the victim, 27, a resident of Chak No 15JB, Chiniot district, told Sahiyanwala police that the accused Shaukat Ali, a resident of Biranwala Bangla in Chak No 18JB and his wife were friends with her sister Ayesha. The complainant stated that Shaukat told Ayesha that his wife was sick and asked her to find a maid. Ayesha sent her sister to work at Shaukat’s house who allegedly took the victim to a mansion located at Chak No 18JB where he along with Mohammad Nawaz and his two unknown accomplices raped her, causing her to faint.

The victim was shifted to a hospital for medical treatment. Sahiyanwala police started raids to arrest the accused after registering the case. Separately, a young woman was allegedly raped at her home by the accused Ghulam Dastagir and two others at gunpoint. The victim, a resident of Ghousia Colony in Chak No 497GB area of Mamoun Kanjan police station, was reportedly beaten as well during the assault.

Moreover, a teenage boy, who left his home in Chak No 498GB to buy food was abducted and taken to a deserted place near Sarwar Hotel by a man who raped him.

Cases of sexual assault have been on the rise in Faisalabad. On Tuesday, a woman and a 10-year-old minor boy were allegedly raped by the suspects in Faisalabad.

According to details, the woman was sexually assaulted by Zakir and two of his accomplices in a sugarcane field. The woman was given a lift by the accused on his motorcycle on the pretext of dropping the victim to her destination.

In a separate incident, a minor boy was taken away by the accused Shah Jahan to an empty house under the pretext of bringing water. The accused molested him in said house located in Sufyan Town.

On June 7, a seven-year-old boy, who was abducted on June 5 from D-Type Colony area, had been killed after being raped. The body was found by local residents after it was thrown in a canal in Dijkot area.
