Action to be taken against officer

PESHAWAR:

Special Assistant to K-P Chief Minister for Information and Local Government Kamran Bangash on Tuesday said strong disciplinary action will be taken against a municipal official who allegedly opened fire at vegetable vendors at Bacha Khan Chowk in the provincial capital the other day. Bangash said the use of weapons during duty is strictly prohibited and an FIR has been registered against the official at the Faqirabad police station. The special assistant also directed the concerned town municipal officer to conduct an inquiry into the incident and submit a report immediately.
