The decomposed body of an unidentified man was recovered from Badami Bagh in the early hours of Saturday. A passerby spotted the body and informed the police. A police team reached the spot on information and shifted the body to a morgue for autopsy. Police also collected forensic evidence from the crime scene and recorded statements of the eyewitnesses.
