Rangers conduct combing operations

Ops carried out on tip-offs

KARACHI:

Rangers conducted joint combing operations with police in different areas of Karachi, including Saudabad, Malir Town, Shaharyar Town, Bin Qasim Town, Shahbaz Goth, Gadap Town, Ghausia Colony, Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Orangi Town, Jamshed Town and others, on Monday. According to a Rangers spokesperson, the operations are being carried out on tip-offs. He said that relevant areas were sealed during operations, houses were checked, criminal records of persons suspected of involvement in illegal activities were checked via biometric verification and vehicles and persons entering and leaving localities where operations were being conducted were also thoroughly checked.
