Punjab Emergency Service rescues 71,866 victims in July

A total of 472 people were killed in Punjab

LAHORE:

Punjab Emergency Service (PES) Rescue 1122 rescued 71,866 emergency victims while responding to 73,430 emergencies across Punjab in July 2020. A total of 472 people were killed in Punjab out of which 329 people lost their lives in road traffic crashes. This was disclosed during a monthly performance review meeting held at Rescue Headquarters and chaired by DG Rescue 1122 Dr Rizwan Naseer on Tuesday. All heads of wings from rescue headquarters and academy attended the meeting.
