ISLAMABAD:

Federal Minister for Communications and Postal Services Murad Saeed has said that the highway starting from Islamabad’s Kashmir Chowk and leading Muzaffarabad via Murree has been renamed as the Srinagar Highway. This route, he said, may also be termed as the ‘Road to Srinagar’. This he disclosed while addressing a ceremony on Monday. The communications minister said that Prime Minister Imran Khan has successfully highlighted the Kashmir issue on global fora. He added that last year on August 5, India took illegal action in occupied Jammu and Kashmir and besieged the entire valley, which was condemned internationally.
