HYDERABAD:

All shrines in the province will be reopened after Eidul Azha, following a four-month-long closure due to the pandemic, claimed Sindh Auqaf Minister Suhail Anwar Siyal on Tuesday.

He was talking to the media in Sehwan during a visit to the shrine of Lal Shahbaz Qalandar. "Devotees will have to comply with the standard operating procedures while visiting shrines, in order to protect themselves and their families," he added.

The Sindh government had closed shrines across the province on March 14 to curb the spread of coronavirus. The annual urs of Qalandar had also been cancelled.
