Cattle trader shoots, injures 3 customers

The vendor fled before police arrived

RAWALPINDI:

Rawalpindi. At least three youngsters were injured after an animal vendor fired on them when they started pointing out defects in a cow he had put up for sale.

The Ganjmandi police said that the victims, who hailed from the Gawalmandi area, were looking for an animal in Bagh Sardaran cattle market.

While negotiating, one of the youngsters pointed out a defect in the cow’s leg which enraged the vendor. The suspect called his partners and attacked the three victims and then fired at them, seriously injuring them.

The victims, Asad, Junaid, and Ayaz, were shifted to the District Headquarters (DHQ) Hospital and Ganjmandi police were informed about the incident.

The vendor fled before police arrived.
