ISLAMABAD:

The apex civic agency of the federal capital on Monday told a high court that an advertisement for recruiting 670 employees from basic pay scale (BPS) grade 1 through 17, has been retracted on technical grounds.

A single-member bench of the Islamabad High Court (IHC), comprising Justice Mohsin Akhtar Kiyani, heard a case about the regularisation of contractual employees of the Capital Development Authority (CDA).

CDA Administration Member told the court on Monday that the authority had withdrawn the advertisement for the recruitment due to some technical issues.

He assured that the advertisement will be republished after errors are removed.

The court in its order directed to refer the matter to the CDA regularisation committee and to review the applications of contractual employees keeping in view the court’s decision.

The court further directed to submit a report in the next hearing on August 25.
