Punjab Governor Chaudhry Mohammad Sarwar has stated that goverment’s political opponents were unhappy over province's progress. “However the incumbent government does not believe in the politics of revenge.”
He expressed these views while speaking to central members of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) including Reza Shakur, Omar Dar and Pir Syed Nazim Hussain Shah among others at Governor House on Sunday.
He claimed, “We are pursuing a policy of transparency and non-discriminatory accountability in Pakistan.” Under the leadership of Prime Minister Imran Khan, the governor explained, we have saved the country from economic bankruptcy. “Political opponents should stop criticising the government and wait for the next general elections.”
