Police arrest ‘robbers’ in encounter

Suspects allegedly involved in 21 robberies

KARACHI:

The Ferozabad police claimed to have arrested three robbers after an alleged encounter on Tuesday night, seizing cash, weapons and motorcycle from their possession.

According to East SSP Sajid Sadozai, the suspects, namely Saeed, Ismail and Dadu, had robbed a citizen outside a bank. He added that the victim informed patrolling police officials about the robbery and they chased the suspects, arrested them after an encounter.

According to Sadozai, the suspects were allegedly involved in 21 robberies and had been booked in separate cases.
