Deepika Padukone to star opposite Prabhas in upcoming sci-fi film

Bollywood actor Deepika Padukone and Baahubali actor Prabhas have finally confirmed that they will be sharing the big screen for the first time in an upcoming science-fiction Telugu film together.

Production for the Nag Ashwin directed film, which is most likely going to be Prabhas 21, is reportedly scheduled for next year.

Vyjayanthi Movies announced the project on their Instagram handle to mark their golden jubilee on Sunday.

The Padmaavat actor took to her social media and confirmed the collaboration with Prabhas by sharing Vyjayanthi Movies' post as well. The film will mark Padukone's debut in the Telugu film industry. 

Taking to Instagram, the actor expressed her joy and excitement by writing, “Beyond Thrilled! Cannot wait for what we believe is going to be an incredible journey ahead.”
