
The Punjab police on Friday announced that they will resume all training courses for their officers which had previously been suspended to prevent the novel coronavirus (Covid-19) from spreading. Courses are set to resume from July 22 under standard operating procedures (SOPs) devised by the government to curb the viral disease. A notification released by Punjab Additional IG Training Rana Tahir Khan, all police training courses had been suspended to ensure the health of trainee officers and personnel. Given the improved situation with regards to the pandemic, all the training courses of the provincial police have been restored. A capacity-building course for probationers, junior traffic wardens training course and a course for investigating officers will be held at the Punjab Training College in Lahore.
