The Federal Directorate of Education (FDE) on Friday removed Area Education Officer (AEO Urban-1) Anwar Khan from his post apart from transferring three others, including directors. A notification issued by the directorate’s Human Resources Manager (HRM) Javed Iqbal Mirza, Communications and Outreach Director Rana Mohammad Nazir has been posted as the AEO of the Nilore sector, while Professor Aftab Tariq has been posted as the AEO Urban-I and Nazmeen Sohail has been re-posted as the AEO of the Sihala Sector. The orders, issued after approval from FDE’s director-general, Planning Director Tanveer Ahmed has been transferred and handed Nazir’s post. Administration Director Saqib Shehab has been appointed as the new planning director. Shehab, however, will retain the additional charge of Admin Services. Meanwhile, Nazmeen Sohail has been re-appointed as AEO in Sihala Sector while Saira Amjad has been posted as the AEO Urban-II. Aftab Taro has been appointed as AEO in Urban-I and Principal Anwar Khan’s temporary charge as AEO of Urban-I has been cancelled.
