Man killed in vehicle collision

VEHARI:

A man was killed and his nephew and daughter suffered injuries as their motorcycle was hit by a tractor on Luddan-Mitroo road near Shatab Garh Chowk on Monday. The deceased, Aslam, was taking his daughter Sana Bibi and nephew Zaheer to Pul-14 from Hasilpur to attend a ceremony. However, while crossing the Shatab Garh Chowk, their motorcycle was hit by a tractor approaching from the opposite direction. Reportedly, the collision resulted in fatal injuries to Aslam, while Sana sustained fracture and leg injuries. She was sent to the DHQ hospital for treatment, while Zaheer was given first aid for minor injuries. The driver escaped leaving the tractor at the accident site. Police seized the tractor and started investigations.
