Featuring the late Rajput and his trademark smile as he sashays around on a stage in a sports jersey, trying to woo Sanghi, the song talks about one-sided love, constantly reiterating the line ‘Dil bechara, friend zone ka maara.’ While much of the music is still under wraps, even the title track only unveils a few beats, as noted by Hindustan Times.
The trailer for the film itself has shattered YouTube records, surpassing the superhero flick Avengers: Endgame to become the most liked trailer on YouTube in 24 hours.
Dil Bechara is a Hindi adaptation of John Green’s The Fault in Our Stars and also marks Sanghi’s big Bollywood debut. It’s helmed by Mukesh Chhabra and slated for a July 24 release on Disney+ Hotstar.
