FDA recovers Rs15.95m from allotees

Rs2.41 million collected as late payment charges on instalments

FAISALABAD:

Under an ongoing recovery campaign of the Faisalabd Development Authority (FDA), an amount of Rs15.95 million has been collected from the allotees of FDA City during the previous month under various heads.

FDA Director General Muhammad Suhail Khawaja was briefed during a meeting on the current status of recovery of dues. The meeting was attended by Additional Director General Amer Aziz, Director Estate Management Suhail Masood, Directors Town Planning Mehr Ayub, Asma Mohsin, Deputy Director Estate Management Zafar Iqbal Qadri and others.

The meeting was informed that an amount of Rs5.55 million had been received as additional development charges, while Rs2.41 million was collected as charges for late payment of instalments.

Instalments of Rs1.92 million have been collected, while Rs1.16 million was collected as transfer of plots fees, Rs2.1 million was received as restoration fees and remaining dues were collected under various other heads.

The DG expressed his satisfaction over the recovery during the month and said the collected revenue would be utilised for further development of FDA City.

He said efforts were being made to provide all basic facilities to the allotees of FDA City.
