The Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) will hold its 48th board meeting on July 10 where they are expected to review and pass its budget for the fiscal year 2020-21. RDA Chairman Tariq Mehmood Murtaza is expected to chair the meeting.
Besides this, other items included in the meeting’s agenda include the construction of interchanges for private housing societies to the Ring Road, approval of alignment of its 65.8-kilometre route along with the establishment of the special economic zone.
The board will also approve a three-year business plan for the Water and Sanitation Agency (Wasa) and the outsourcing of the recovery of Wasa bills.
As per the agenda, the approval to change the purpose of the land of the Shabistan Cinema site for a plaza, auction of commercial plot 12, and amendments to the RDA building and zoning regulations are also part of the agenda.
