Punjab Minister for Labour and Human Resource Ansar Majeed Khan presided over the 147th meeting of the governing body of Punjab Employees Social Security Institutions (PESSI) held at PESSI Head Office on Monday. The meeting was attended by Labour Secretary Aamir Jan, PESSI Commissioner Tanveer Iqbal, members of PESSI governing body and other officials. The meeting approved the decisions of the 145th and 146th meetings of the governing body. The provincial minister reviewed the proposals for the revised budget for the financial year 2019-2020 and the proposed budget for the fiscal year 2020-2021. The labour secretary and PESSI commissioner briefed the meeting about the salient features and suggestions of the budget. He directed the officials that details of PPEs procured for PESSI employees and doctors to protect from Covid-19 should also be provided.
