Woman injured in firing

Accused manages to escape from crime scene

LAHORE:

A woman was injured in an incident of firing in the area of Sawa Asal Chowki, Kahna police station on Friday. Police said the woman named Fazilat, who was working in the fields, was shot by unidentified assailants in Padonki. As a result, the woman sustained serious bullet injuries. Police reached the spot and started an investigation. Police officials added that the injured were taken to a hospital for treatment. Reportedly, there was a land dispute between the two parties due to which the woman was attacked. The accused managed to escape from the scene.
