Wife had refused to return home

MUZAFFARGARH:

A man opened fire and injured his wife and mother-in-law over the refusal of returning home by wife in Alipur.

Police officials said that Zaman Rind, a resident of Khanewal went to reconcile with his wife Rukhsana Bibi and bring her home after they quarreled over domestic issues.

However, she refused to go with her husband. In a fit of rage, Zaman along with his three unknown accomplices opened fire, as a result, his mother-in-law Shamshad Mai and wife sustained serious bullet injuries.

The outlaws managed to escape from there, after taking their two children. Upon receiving information, the police reached the spot and shifted the injured women to a hospital. Police had registered a case and started raids for arresting the accused.
