Three people drowned in two separate incidents in Khairpur on Tuesday evening. According to the district police, two motorcyclists, namely Imdad Nidwani and Abdul Qayyum Nidwani, fell into Mohabbat Wah Canal near Shah Abdul Latif University along with their motorcycle. They drowned before they could be rescued by local divers. Meanwhile, in Kot Ghulam Muhammad, a boy, identified as Wishal Kolhi, drowned while bathing in a canal. His body was later retrieved by divers.
