.

Police in Manghopir have arrested three individuals allegedly posing as doctors after an elderly woman was critically injured due to alleged medical malpractice at a private hospital.
According to SHO, the complainant, Shamsi Zahidullah, stated that on Nov 18, his mother, Zarsanga Bibi was taken to the hospital where her condition worsened following injections administered by the accused. He informed the staff about her diabetes and blood pressure conditions. Doctor Ali Raza administered an IV drip and a butterfly needle, after which she was sent home. Later that evening, her condition deteriorated, prompting a return visit where Doctor Abdul Qadir wrote tests, instructed his assistant Shahid to insert a cannula, and prescribed medication, claiming it was dengue treatment.
By Nov 23, her hand had swollen and turned black around the cannula site. After repeated visits and injections, blisters appeared, leaving the woman unable to walk. Police registered a case and arrested Abdul Qadir, Ali Raza, and Shahid during a raid. The suspects reportedly ran the hospital illegally while falsely claiming to be MBBS doctors. Authorities have been notified to seal the hospital.
