You might have seen a picture of Pakistani singer Asim Azhar and famous TikTok star Areeka Haq making rounds on social media. The picture that went viral was from an upcoming song by Azhar and the young TikTok star is being featured in it.

However, many took to social media and trolled Haq for appearing in the video. Soon after the comments were made, Azhar had an interesting take on the matter.

The Jo Tu Na Mila singer talked about how people should also practice what they preach.

“Kamaal hai waise pehle depression aur mental health pe lectures dete hain aur kuch din baad khud kisi ko depression ka shikaar bana dete hain apni bullying aur nafrat se ( It’s funny how they first give lectures on depression and mental health and after a few days they make others a target of depression through hate and bullying ),” the singer tweeted.

Azhar wasn't the only one who spoke up on the matter. Superstar Saba Qamar, too, came to the rescue of Haq and shared, "Sometimes I fail to understand why is there so much hate in our society? Why can't we replace this 'hate' with 'love'."

She went on to add, "Let's all learn from this crucial time and be kind to each other because we've no idea what the other person is going through! Please learn to respect."

Sharing how she is awaiting the release of the song, the Cheekh star remarked, "Asim Azhar I'm eagerly waiting for your upcoming music video! Also, I'm proud of this little beautiful girl Areeka Haq and all the other young talented people, trust me guys I'm your biggest cheerleader, no matter what! Keep growing and shining! Lots of love!"

Not just Qamar, but Hania Aamir and Yasir Hussain also came out in support of the popular TikTok star. Haq has expressed heartfelt gratitude for all the support she has received.
