Micheal Keaton might return as 'Batman' in upcoming 'Flash' film

The actor is currently in talks to pick up the cowl once again

As Robert Pattinson gears up to take on the Batman mantle in Matt Reeves'upcoming  film, Micheal Keaton is also looking to pick up the cowl once more. According to a recent report on The Hollywood Reporter, Keaton is in talks to reprise his role as Batman in an upcoming Flash film.

Part of the DC cinematic universe, the film will see Ezra Miller reprise his role as Flash from the Justice League. Keaton, who played the titular character in Tim Burton's Batman and Batman Returns in the 90s, is reportedly in negotiations to essay the role in a string of DC films.

Sources, as cited by The Hollywood Reporter, reveal that the role is being envisioned for the veteran actor is akin to the role played by Samuel Jackson as Nick Fury in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Among potential films that would see Keaton as Batman also include the upcoming Bat Girl film.

Considering that the Justice League had Miller's Flash team up with Ben Affleck as Batman, there have been speculations as to how Keatn will be tied in. A major possibility is that his Batman would be a different character from Justice League hat would be introduced through Flash causing a reality shift, a troupe that is well popular with the character.
