LAHORE: Edhi phone lines were disconnected for over twenty four hours when road construction workers on Multan Road cut the lines leaving all seven phone lines disconnected. Edhi officials said that they currently operate with seven phones lines and deal with almost fifty emergencies every day. They said that from Wednesday evening all seven lines were disconnected. Edhi centre in-charge Faisal Jalal told The Express Tribune that road construction workers should know that these phones lines were not ordinary lines. He said that these lines were working to save human lives.
