On the occasion, the CM said mobile milk testing labs would inspect milk during morning and evening at Thoker Niaz Baig, Ravi Motorway Toll Plaza, Bhubtian Chowk, Saggian Bridge, Gajju Matah and Babu Sabu in the project’s first phase.
“No milk vehicle would enter Lahore without testing and the scope of this facility would be extended to divisional and district level,” he underlined.
Similarly, the motorcycle squads would check the quality of eatables in different localities and inspect license possession.
The chief minister said the squads have been formulated to redress the complaints of adulteration and sale of sub-standard items.
Buzdar asserted that provision of good quality food items is the responsibility of the state and the adulteration mafia will not be granted any leniency.
PFA director general claimed that the mobile testing facility is capable of deducing milk quality within two minutes.
Senior Minister Abdul Aleem Khan, Information Minister Fayyazul Hassan Chohan, Chairman PFA Umar Tanvir, chief secretary and secretary food were also present on the occasion.
