Vasay Chaudhry tests positive for Covid-19

The actor shared that he is currently under self-quarantine

Actor and screenwriter Vasay Chaudhry has tested positive for coronavirus.

The Jawani Phir Nahi Ani writer took to Instagram to share the dismal news with his fans and followers, writing, "I have tested positive for coronavirus and self-quarantining. I have no symptoms."



He also shared that his family has thankfully tested negative for the virus. "I have already notified people I have come in contact with recently to get themselves tested and self-isolate, if need be," he added.

Other than writing and appearing in films, Vasay is also a stalwart on Pakistani TV as the host of popular show Mazaaq Raat. 

Earlier, it was also reported that another renowned TV personality, actor and director Rubina Ashraf, had tested positive and was in need of prayers as she struggled with the disease.
