Father-Son Issues: Boy commits suicide

HARIPUR:

A boy committed suicide over unknown reasons in the outskirts of Haripur District on Wednesday. Khalabat Township police said that Hasan Khan, 17, was a student of Government Pyrotechnics Institute Khalabat Township, where his father Saeed Ahmed Khan, served as a teacher.  According to family sources, Saeed scolded Hasan over some mistake, after which Hasan locked himself in his room. Later, his family heard a gunshot from his room, and Hasan’s body was found lying in a pool of blood. The family said he shot at his temple with a licensed pistol, which belonged to Saeed, adding that Hasan had a short temper and would often get angry over petty issues.
