NAWABSHAH: People belonging to the Kaloi community staged a sit-in, demanding the release of a kidnapped villager. They said 25-year-old Sehrab Kaloi was kidnapped one month ago from Qazi Ahmed village and the kidnappers were demanding half a million rupees in ransom. They alleged that a provincial adviser was sheltering the kidnappers and demanded that he should be booked under the Anti-Terrorism Act. Later, after a member of the Zardari family assured the protestors that the kidnapped man would soon be released, they dispersed peacefully. The protest was held outside Zardari House in Nawabshah on Wednesday.
