Officials claimed that the accused has confessed to the crimes in his initial statement.
A young girl, BN*, told the Karachi Company police that she got acquainted with UB* on social media where he had introduced himself as a military officer.
She added that the suspect lured her from her abode in Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) to the federal capital on the pretext of getting her a job.
Sexual assault: woman raped during robbery
When she arrived at the suspect’s residence in Sector G-9/2, he offered her juice. Unbeknownst to her, the juice was spiked with drugs. When she regained her consciousness, she found that her clothes had been taken off and that she had been sexually assaulted.
BN said that the suspect then allegedly forced himself on her and kept her locked up for two months. The suspect also allegedly took compromising photos of her during the assault and threatened to upload them if she tried to make any loud noise or flee.
The suspect also allegedly stole Rs200,000 from her bank account, the victim said, adding that after much difficulty, she managed to flee and find the police.
Karachi Company SHO Saleem Raza told The Express Tribune that the suspect had stolen the identity of a certain Captain Usman Butt and was impersonating the officer on social media.

Raza claims that the suspect had confessed to his crime during questioning, adding that he had rented the house in which he forcibly kept the victim.
The SHO added that the suspect was a software engineer and works with different companies online. He further said that they have registered a case against the suspect.
