Nine arrested, hashish seized

MIANWALI: Police arrested nine outlaws including four drug peddlers and seized narcotics, weapons and stake money from them in Piplan and Saddar police limits. Police said on Friday that the teams conducted raids at the areas of their jurisdiction and arrested four drug peddlers and five gamblers.

Police seized 2.46 kilogrammes of hashish, a 30-bore pistol, a 12-bore gun, stake money worth Rs4,150, five mobile phones and three motorcycles from their possession. The arrested included Ameer Alam, Tajammal Hussain, Attaur Rehman, Muhammad Mumtaz and others.
