Violence: Kidnapping and clashes

KHAIRPUR: A villager was kidnapped by armed bandits near Hingorja town in the district of Khairpur, on Wednesday. Gunmen attacked a villager, Muneer Solangi, kidnapped him at gunpoint and fled. The police was informed but they did not follow the culprits. Separately, a clash occurred between two groups of Kalhoro community in the Pir Mangio village over the collection of dates. Both sides attacked each other with sticks and bricks. Around eight people were injured. They were taken to the civil hospital for treatment where three of them were declared to be in critical condition.
